Who will be dealing with my requirements?

An REC qualified Consultant with a recognised childcare qualification and experience themselves working with children

Do you interview your candidates face to face?

Yes, we do not put candidates forward we have not registered with one of our trained Consultants first.

What reference checks to you conduct?

At least 2 professional references are taken up. One being from the last or most recent employer. Unlike many Agencies we do not accept personal references from family relatives or friends AND we always ensure we speak to previous employers also.

Can I speak to the previous employer?

Yes of course. Kids Matter highly recommends that you do speak directly to previous employers and will provide you with their details once an offer has been made. All offers are subject to references.

Are qualifications validated?

Yes. We request to see all certificates of qualifications.

Will my Nanny hold a CRB completed in the last 12 months?

Yes - A verification form will be supplied for the CRB check.

Is Kids Matter registered with any professional bodies to ensure best recruitment practice guidelines are adhered to?

Yes. Kids Matter is a member of the National Child minding Association (NCMA) and the REC Childcare Sector - the largest and most widely recognised professional body for Recruitment Agencies in the UK. We are also proud to appear in the Good Nanny Agency Guide and are approved by Best Bear as a quality Agency offering a first class service.
